What a wild, fun painting to create! Sooooo much going on, from the brilliant, almost psychedelic colors, to little details of butterflies flitting about, whales in the distance, pink bubbles floating off the majestic whale, to art nouveau details speckled about. This was a lot of fun to create, and I'm just in love with it, hope you all like it too!

It's always the final details that really make a piece come together and my vision come to life. Lots of outlining has to be done, from using paints to paint pens, especially @sharpie pens, love them!! I wait until the very end to paint little butterflies and other small details to get the colors perfectly complimentary to the rest of the painting. And of course, the beautiful, majestic whale! I didn't want to use any bold colors on her/him as there was so much going on already. This allowed the whale to stand out against the background, and also make the pink bubbles even more ethereally beautiful..
A portion of the proceeds from this original painting will be donated to ReWild, an organization I have collaborated with, and contribute to, to help “conserve the diversity of life on Earth".
