At the core of my being lies a dual passion, an intersection where creativity and motion dance hand in hand. Art and cycling aren't just hobbies; they're the very essence of my existence, intertwining to fuel a fire that drives me forward. With each stroke of the brush or turn of the pedal, I find myself immersed in a world where expression knows no bounds and movement knows no limits.
My dream for the new boutique cycling brand AROON, is to inspire and motivate women to get out and ride! Whether you are riding your bike for health reasons, for fun, to compete or - just because - I'm here for it! Cycling should have no boundaries, not age, not gender, not size, not ethnicity - it's for everyone. From the little girl tikes on their striders to women in their 70s, 80s and beyond, we can all enjoy the thrill of getting outside and riding a bike. Whether it's on the pavement or in the dirt, there are no limits.
It's this boundless passion that leads me on a journey to merge my loves into something truly unique: a boutique cycling brand unlike any other. Inspired by the vibrant colors and dynamic energy of pop art doodles, I've set out to infuse the world of cycling with a touch of artistic flair. My vision is clear—to transform the mundane into the extraordinary, to breathe life into the ordinary with bold, original designs.
What is the meaning behind the name AROON? Well, first off Aroon is my middle name, and I also named my daughter Aroon. The Irish meaning of the name and it's significance in my life is perfectly fitting for an inspiring brand for women, by women: "my dear or my loved one", a "beloved person" in general, or in this case, a love born for cycling and art.

Cycling has always been more than just a hobby for me—it's been a source of freedom, empowerment, and joy, read my previous blog post about my love affair with cycling here. It's one of the main reasons I live the nomadic lifestyle, to continually experience new places to ride. Yet, as a woman in the cycling world, I've often felt like I was navigating a landscape that wasn't entirely built with me in mind. That's why I decided to take matters into my own hands and create AROON, a boutique cycling brand that celebrates women of all ages, sizes, ethnicities, and backgrounds through art and women centric products.

For me, AROON is more than just a brand; it's a passion project, a labor of love, and a dream come true. I want to create gear that not only looks good but also empowers women to feel confident on and off the bike. Whether it's a bold jersey, a fun cycling themed t-shirt, or a vibrant headband, every AROON product is designed with the female cyclist in mind. But, AROON is about more than just selling products—it's about building a community. Through social media, and eventual partnerships with other cycling brands, I'm working to create a supportive network where women can connect, share stories, and inspire each other to reach new heights.
